ABSTRACT | ||
In the 19th century, when the dawn of
the Renaissance was gradually becoming brighter in the inner palace of the
JorasankoThakurbari, not only men but also women participated in the new
changes in society and culture. They simultaneously managed the inner palace by
following traditional customs and developed their talents and practiced art,
culture and literature. Not only that, they also participated equally in
various social and political issues. And later, when they sat down to write
their memoirs about this family history and the scope of cultural practice, the
writing captured a fascinating analysis of the times. There, they painted a
unique picture of not only themselves but also the women's awakening of the
entire society. | ||
