ABSTRACT | ||
The article mainly talks about two great Indian philosophies: Buddhism and Jainism. First, it explains Buddhism. Lord Buddha taught the Four Noble Truths. He said that suffering is a part of life, but there is a way to end it. To find peace, people should follow the Eightfold Path. This path includes simple things like speaking the truth, doing good work, and having good thoughts. These rules help people improve themselves and find a balance between old and new ways of living. Second, the article discusses Jainism. Jainism gives us Five Main Rules (Pancamahāvrata). The most important rule is Non-violence (Ahimsā). It means we should not hurt any living being with our work, our words, or even our thoughts. It also teaches us to be honest and not to take things that do not belong to us. These rules help people live a disciplined and kind life. The article shows that true values are timeless. Just like a river that keeps flowing even if its path changes, moral truths remain the same in every age. These ancient Indian lessons serve as a guiding light for the new generation. They teach us how to be more compassionate, how to help others, and how to find real happiness in today's busy world. | ||
