Renowned
linguist Sunitikumar Chattopadhyay was an eminent scholar. He educated people
through righteous living and showed compassion to all. His most important work
is O.D.B.L. (The Origin and Development of the Bengali Language), which studies
the Bengali language and determines its etymology. Rabindranath Tagore
respected his genius. He wrote many books on language, literature, human
culture, and more. Sunitikumar led a very happy personal life and was known for
his discipline and conscientious nature. He also had a great sense of humor,
and his presence enlightened those around him.
