ABSTRACT | ||
Scientists have not been able to get the clarity of the existence of any life in the universe beyond earth till date. Nonetheless, people many a time demand of witnessing extraterrestrial life on earth. Moreover, a group of people feel that apart from our earth also, life exists in other planets of our solar system. They firmly assert that these extraterrestrial lives seem to have been visiting our planet almost regularly for many years, even though, there is hardly any scientific evidence published till now. However, a posse of science fiction writers frequently have brought life on other planets as a dominant subject of their literary works. Renowned writer Satyajit Ray can be referred in this aspect who most widely brought extraterrestrial life as popular subject in many of his stories. This research article attempts to focus how new ideas and thought about extraterrestrial life have been explored in his stories. | ||
