ABSTRACT
Rabindranath Tagore is the father of short story. Throughout his life he has written numerous short stories. Rabindranath has arranged the subject of his short story, especially in Padmapara, with various images of nature, people, happiness and sorrow. Of the numerous short stories he composed, we find adolescent characters for some short stories. For example - Fatik in the story of ‘chuti’, Tarapad in ‘atithi’ story, Nilkant in the story of ‘Apad’, ‘Balai’ story, Ratan in the ‘Postmaster’ story, and mrinmoyi in the story of ‘samapti’. Rabindranath was young in the mind of the young man, so his discussion of the heart was revealed in the short stories of his discussion. The special feature of his illustrated adolescent characters is their freedom fantastic mindset and thrist for freedom. Besides, the characters include simplicity, compassion, affection, the ability to adopt others. Some of the characters are again rare in recognizing the bonds, love to recognize love. It is worth seeing the interests and curiosity of characters towards something new. Some of the characters are discussed in the article discussed. For example, we have found the ‘chuti’ story that we have a child of Rural Bengal. He grew up in rural environment, river banks, forests, jungles, open fields. He spent all day on the field. When such a fat is sent to Kolkata to study, the mischievous Fatik of ruralbangla cannot survive in the closed period of Kolkata, his spiritual death. Again, the character Tarapada in the story ‘Atithi’ is also a bond-averse person. No bond could bind her. He is like a puddle fish in the pak, escapes when he is caught. So, he left the house and joined the Panchali squad, could not stay there in the gymnastics squad, and then he left for the new one.  The sapphire character of the ‘Apad’ story nilkanta is a very jealous boy. So, after the arrival of Satish in the world of Kiranmayi, thinking that the share of his love will be reduced, the Nilkanta mind world has been created in the world.  In the story of ‘Balai’, the boy is the boyfriend of nature. There is no other short story by Rabindranath Tahore that contains such love for nature. From the love of nature, it feels sad and sad to break from the leaves of the vegetation. The character Ratan in the story of the ‘Postmaster’ moves our hearts with his love and affection. Ratan, an unlucky daughter the rural village of Banladesh. Whose life has revolved around Dadababu Postmaster, in the service of the postmaster. Again the ‘Samapti’ story is like a deer that is as playful as a baby.  She does not understand what marriage is? What is love? So even after marriage, there is an attempt to break free from the bond, like a scene from an ‘Atithi’ story. But at one time, the childhood part of his life cycle fell into the earthen woman.
